Make Lasting Memories With Leigh Parke Photography

Leigh Parke comes from a small town in Northern Ireland called Kilkeel, and picked up a camera for the first time at the age of 14, using it as a way to get into concerts!

‘I grew up playing drums in several punk and metal bands and when I wasnt playing drums I couldnt get into the gigs without my camera because of being underage,’ explains Leigh.

‘I have a handsome son, Henry, a gorgeous daughter, Ivy, a beautiful wife, Rachel, and a big brute of a dog, Juno.

‘Rachel and I married in 2018 in the front garden of her parents’ house. So, with only getting married recently, I know what couples have to go through in the wedding planning process. There’s a lot to sort out, so I can help out with advice on anything wedding related!

‘I shot my first wedding in 2010 and I have been extremely lucky to have photographed over 300 weddings since then, shooting at some of the most stunning wedding venues throughout the UK and Ireland.

‘I treat every wedding as if I was photographing my own, ensuring you get exactly what you want and having great craic at the same time. The main thing is having a good laugh, if you dont like my terrible jokes Ill just ask you to pretend to laugh!

‘I’m a member of three of the highest regarded photography associations in the UK and Ireland. These are The Professional Photographers Association of Northern Ireland (PPANI), The British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP) and The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (SWPP). To be a member you must be of a certain standard and work towards qualifications. I currently hold an Associateship in the PPANI & SWPP and a Licentiateship in the BIPP.

‘Within each of these associations there are yearly awards which are judged by world class judges at an unbelievable standard. I’m honoured to say that several of my images have won awards.
